For example, if we were writing an article about how important it is for businesses to be responsive after receiving an email or message from customers or potential customers, we might use this example: “One day I was shopping online at Amazon when my laptop battery died right before completing my order! Luckily they had just sent me an email saying they would ship my order out within two days–and boy was I glad they did! If they hadn’t responded so quickly (and so politely), who knows how long it would have taken me? It might even have made me think twice before ordering from them again!” Then later on in the article itself: “Make sure that when someone contacts you via email or social media platforms like Facebook Messenger or Twitter DMs, always respond within 24 hours at most.”
Find a way to be brief, engaging, and interesting and you’ll increase your content’s chances to be read by more people. You can do this by using simple language, using active verbs, and using short sentences. You can also use humor and/or a story to make your copy more engaging.
